Members of the Governors’ Forum of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have reiterated their faith in the judiciary’s capacity to render impartial and just decisions.
In a press conference held after the forum’s meeting at the Bauchi State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja, Bala Mohammed, the forum’s chairman, emphasised the group’s analysis of recent Court of Appeal decisions affecting various states.
“We once again re-state our overall confidence in the judiciary to do justice,” he said as the forum.

“We believe the Supreme Court will do justice in the cases where we recorded temporary setbacks like Zamfara and Plateau States,” Governor Mohammed stated.
He mentioned that the off-season elections in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo State were discussed.
Bala Mohammed advocated for the Nigerian government to prioritise the implementation of a new Revenue Allocation Formula and expressed the governor’s concerns about the country’s economy.
The objective of this proposed formula is to provide states and local governments with additional funding so they can efficiently handle their expanding obligations.
