PLEASE, I DONT WANT TO JOIN ISSUES WITH OBI GEORGE ONYEKABA (OBI OF NNEWICHI ) – NONSO OKAFOR
Nonso Okafor has come out to say that he does not want to join issues with Obi George Onyekaba (The Obi Of Nnewichi ) as regards his comments towards the result of State House Of Assembly election in Nnewi North Constituency.
Recall how we reported that Obi George Onyekaba insinuated that he owed no one apology for not accepting the Homage Nonso Okafor and his team came to pay him at his palace after his (Nonso Okafor ) victory at the just concluded State House of Assembly election, saying he will never “shower” his Blessings on Nonso Okafor .

Anaedoonline.com, however, contacted Nonso Okafor on the phone to get his reaction to this imbroglio, Nonso Okafor told us that he does not intend join issues with Obi George Onyekaba, he, however, added that he believes Obi George Onyekaba spoke in his personal capacity as George Onyekaba but not as Obi Of Nnewichi.
“Before he can take that decision as the Obi of Nnewichi, there must be due consultations with the other Obis within Nnewichi, and these Obis all gave me their blessings,” he said.
Also Speaking on the comment attributed to Mr Benneth Ngonadi saying that Nonso Okafor does not have the Support of Nnewichi people. The State House of Assembly elects replied that Mr Benneth Ngonadi cannot speak for the people of Nnewichi.
Nonso Okafor said ” How can Mr Benneth Ngonadi say that I don’t have the support of Nnewichi people? I won massively in Obiofia Nnewichi, I won massively in Abubo and Odida, I even got a substantial amount of votes in Ezeobuo. I have the mandate of Nnewichi people ” He declared
He went further saying,” Nzuko Agamniru Nnewichi, the general assembly of the people of Nnewichi gave the whole House of Assembly Candidates their blessings prior to the election. So I want to also believe that Mr Benneth Ngonadi spoke for himself and not for the people of Norwich”
