NONSO OKAFOR VISITS NNEWI ANGLICAN BISHOP, RECEIVES EPISCOPAL BLESSINGS.

The Archbishop of Niger Province and Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, His Grace, The Most Rev. Prof. G.I.N Okpala has congratulated Nnewi North Member-Elect For Anambra State House of Assembly, Nonso Okafor (Smart) on his 9th March State House of Assembly victory and prayed for his success in the State Legislative Chamber.

Nonso Okafor who was at the Bishop’s office at Nnewi Diocesan Secretariat, today, 4th April, 2019, to inform the Bishop of his election victory was accompanied by the Director-General of his campaign organization, Arc. Paul Ileka (Solid Base) and some clergies in Nnewi Anglican Diocese.

In his speech, Nonso Okafor thanked the Archbishop for his warm welcome and assured him of his preparedness to deliver quality representation for Ndi Nnewi.

He outlined some of his plans for Nnewi which is majorly built on improving the socio-economic life of the town and promised the Bishop not to disappoint him.

He pleaded with the Bishop to continue to remember him in his prayers to ensure his performance.

Responding, His Grace, Archbishop Okpala congratulated Nonso Okafor (Smart) on his victory in the polls and urged him not to disappoint the Nnewi populace. He described Smart’s victory as an act of God and urged him to live up to expectations as he has a great future ahead of him.

He however prayed for the success of Nonso Okafor in Anambra State House of Assembly, asking God to grant the young legislator the wisdom and the strength to represent his people well.
